Almost good!

I like the idea, but I think a couple of things would improve it. Mainly, the fades to black between shots are a little annoying to me. A fade to black suggests a transition to anpther scene, another time, another location, etc.. I think straight cuts would have been better here. Also, showing the box being opened would have had a nice effect.

Nice color use!

Clever & original!

Apparently, boredom, for you, enhances creative productivity.

Speeding up the voice track made the dialog funnier. Especially all the profanity!

Good job.

That's interesting considering that some people think the profanity takes away from the humor... but you can't please everyone. I'm a fan of Kevin Smith movies... so profanity works for me. My boss is on his way to Mexico next week so episode #3 should be even better.

Well planned, well done!

Very imaginative style. Clever and effective use of gradients.

thanks. glad you enjoyed it!

Good!

This has what a lot of the submissions lack. A simple, funny theme, well-timed with a snappy pace, lively characters, and a title sequence that gets right into the movie instead of
a long, over-done display of type manipulation.

Good but too slow!

When we read a comic book or a graphic novel, we scan the panels and pages at our own pace. We look at each scene, read the text, observe the visual elements and move on. Once we've received what each frame has for us, we don't have to wait for the next one.

However, when you make an animation you should remember that your audience is at
your mercy. Even the best graphics can't make up for the boredom that sets in while waiting for the story to move along. I think your work would be much better if you try for a little more lively pacing.

Very impressive!

"You Can't Go Home Again" The melancholy theme of Thomas Wolf's novel is re-expressed here in a beautifully executed animation. Excellent drawing, splendid use of subdued color,
Very good in every way!

Nice surprise!

No killing, no blood, no sick wierdness, just a notable attempt at visual poetry!
Good work!

thanks topdrawer!

Good design, nice style.

Obviously a labor of love. Very nice use of color. Original character design.
Sequencing and continuity of scenes well thought-out.

Visually Powerful!

This obviously took a long time and a lot of work. Looks like rotoscoping was used.

Outstanding!

How refreshing to watch something beautiful and tender instead of characters slaughtering each other! The style of this piece is simply elegant. The theme is one of those extremely rare concepts that will evoke an involuntary emotional response in anyone who sees it, in other words, this is a truly a work of ART! The composition, placing the subject on one side of the frame instead of in the middle, is a nice touch.
